ZEN Interational delivers 45.000 PV systems to te UK.

The company has developed an approach, in conjunction with its long time UK distribution partner to design, engineer and supply 45.000 ready-to-install solar PV kits to be mounted in the social housing sector in the UK in large quantities.

Since April 2010 the UK has a new incentive program aimed at the stimulation of PV systems. This Feed-in Tariff system (FIT) is comparable to the German program. ZEN production, together with its distributor Eaga (a UK based PLC) has developed a business model to install large numbers of PV systems in social housing. A dedicated fund has been established, which will retain ownership over the installed PV systems. ZEN production has cooperated in the development of the program since 2009 and has taken the main responsibility to source and define all the technical aspects of the program. ZEN's involvement in 2010 implied the engineering and delivery of a pilot of 1200 PV kits to housing associations with a further development of up to 4-5.000 systems in 2010 and 45.000 before the end of 2011. For the period until end of 2011 ZEN will supply 45.000 PV roof mounting kits and further manage the capacity building program for its client by setting up a logistical and handling  centre in London.

The high quality of products and services ZEN has gradually build up over the past few years and the strategy to develop long term export relations, like the one with ZEN's distributor Eaga, have been key success factors in receiving this contact.
